One of Canada's leading distributors of woodworking materials is expanding the sales force and is looking for a
TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST to join the
WOODCOATINGS DIVISION.

This person is accountable for servicing and managing existing accounts and identifying new business relationships throughout Northern Alberta.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Strong wood finishing technical aptitude
  • Custom color mixing proficiency
  • Work collaboratively with manager and sales team to meet sales targets
  • Knowledge in overall sales process, preparing for customer calls, anticipating customer needs and working through customer issues
  • Communicating the features, benefits and advantages of products to end users
  • Conducting product demonstrations/trials with customers
  • Ability to identify potential growth opportunities within existing accounts and territory

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Strong knowledge of Woodcoatings Industry
  • Aptitude for matching colors
  • Strong presentation and sales skills
  • High level of selfmotivation, selfdirection, and selfdiscipline
  • Local market knowledge
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Willing to travel
