Communications Agent

Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging content for various communication channels including press releases, website content, social media posts, newsletters, and internal communications.
Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to generate positive coverage and increase brand visibility.
Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks, and develop proactive strategies accordingly.
Serve as a spokesperson for the company and participate in media interviews, press conferences, and public events as needed.
Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and respond promptly to any potential issues or emergencies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging communication technologies and trends, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance communication efforts.
Provide communication support and guidance to internal teams and executives as needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling content and storytelling narratives.
Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms including social media, content management systems, and media monitoring software.
Crisis communication experience and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
