Transportation Claims Adjuster, Full-Time (Toronto, ON, Canada)

Reporting to the VP TEC, the TEC Lead SW Ontario will be responsible to develop and maintain the Regional TEC unit as SW Ontario's leader in independent Transportation, Equipment & Cargo loss adjusting services.
Implementing TEC's strategic growth plan in SW Ontario, by building and leading the regional TEC Services teams.
The role involves developing and implementing change and best practices to ensure TEC services continues to offer market leading client focused adjusting solutions.
Assist the VP TEC with business development, liaising with insurers, brokers, risk managers, insureds, selfinsured entities and transportation and cargo companies to develop new, and expand existing relationships.
Help oversee employee training and development, and technical leadership of the business unit.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Market and grow the TEC team regionally
Recruitment, training and development of staff
Assist TEC leadership with implementation of operational and strategic initiatives for the TEC team regionally
Update and improve report templates and provide quality assurance
Support National Accounts and Business Development on key corporate TEC accounts and exposures
Review fees and resolve fee related issues
Monitor and ensure production targets are met
Manage and resolve complaint activity and escalations
In conjunction with all regional leads, help manage the national TEC afterhours call roster and response
