Based in
Sudbury, ON, the
Junior Planner (Co-op) will have a wide range of duties which focus on assisting in all aspects of Planning project delivery.
What You'll Do:
As part of the Planning team within the TULLOCH Engineering division, you will:
- Work on both large and small development projects throughout northern and central Ontario
- Add value to land through critical thinking and rigorous policy analysis;
- Complete Property Due Diligence on behalf of clients with regard to existing planning permissions and potential highest & best use analysis;
- Attend site meetings/visits to review site constraints & surrounding contexts;
- Liaise with other professionals, municipalities, and government agencies

Who You Are:
- You are willing to travel for site inspections and field work on occasion, sometimes on short notice
- You can pivot and alter approach or recommendations to accomplish desired results
- You are not afraid to raise your hand when you need help or guidance
- You are trusted and provided freedom to work independently but also contribute to the overall team success
What You Should Bring:
- Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD (considered an asset)
- High motivation with resultsoriented focus
- Superior organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Unwavering commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid Class G driver's licence
