Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, the Organizational Development Training Manager is responsible for the creation and delivery of training and development programs for Li-Cycle employees working in our offices.
The Organizational Development Training Manager will oversee and deliver leadership and managerial training, develop learning paths for career development and succession planning, and work with leaders within the organization to identify other needs and develop training solutions.
They will also work closely within the broader HR team, as well as the leadership team, on our performance management processes as well as our culture and employee engagement initiatives.
This position will require occasional travel.Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with leaders in the organization to identify training and development needs for our professional staff, managers and leaders.
- Create or source training content needed to meet organizational needs.
- Deliver and/or manage leadership training programs.
- Oversee our Performance Management process, ensuring that employee development plans and career development plans are well established.
- Support the work we do to reinforce and support our unique Li-Cycle culture, including surveys, action plans, training and communications.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of training and facilitation experience.
- Proven track record of making a difference in the organizational health of teams.
- Experience in leveraging an HRIS to improve the employee and manager experience.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Superior skills working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher.
- High degree of organizational skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Training certification in at least one program, e.g. Emotional Intelligence, Emergenetics, Denison
- The ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- A high degree of professionalism and independence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
