Job Summary

Reporting to the Field Superintendent, the Foreman will direct and manage a 3+ year(s) project and all on-site construction workers, subcontractors, and equipment, while supporting and leading the company's direction, policies, procedures, safety standards, and construction deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and support the scheduled installation, repair, and maintenance of underground civil construction activities.
Support and lead established organizational methods for coordination of work activities while utilizing corrective actions to ensure construction schedules, milestones and completion dates are met.
Engage in open communication with the Superintendent and Project Managers and report any issues which could affect the project plan.
Ensure company equipment is lawfully operated, cared for, maintained and used effectively.
Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
Promote, execute, and adhere to the company's safety program, and support all employees, subcontractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
Ensure time entry is recorded in a timely manner to ensure payroll processing.
Maintain documentation in Fast Field for Safety and Equipment tracking.

Qualifications:

35+ year(s) of construction leadership, with increasing responsibilities, based in civil construction, electrical, underground, and heavy equipment operations
Microsoft Office, FastField, and Field Wire experience
Valid Class 5 or higher license is required
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Adept at problem solving, multitasking, and team collaboration.
Journeyperson/Master Electrician is a asset.
