Job Summary:
Duties:
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, installing windows and doors, and building structures
- Restore and repair existing structures
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete projects
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate construction
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Train and mentor junior carpenters
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques including framing, siding, flooring installation, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Skilled in using power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of masonry work is a plus
- Familiarity with electrical systems is an advantage
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$30.00-$35.85 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
