Department Overview
The Group Risk Management team develops and implements TD's risk management strategies, policies, reporting and operating frameworks, regulatory affairs and operations.
We assess operational, enterprise and credit risks, and regulatory affairs throughout TD's footprint to ensure Bank has an effective operational risk management program within its risk appetite.

- Manage a team of Risk professionals providing oversight and control related advisory services to Risk partners
- Work with executive team, senior business management/partners to develop proactive strategies, tactics, policies and programs to effectively manage regulatory/compliance issues
- Ensure team adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to overall business management activities
- Support team in staying knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank
- Present and make recommendations to senior management and executives
- Ensure an integrated approach with other business areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate
- Be responsible for managing the overall team providing both leadership and guidance
- Set targets and objectives for the team, and deliver results
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or over 7 years of experience
- Integrated knowledge of business, operational functions, methods and regulatory requirements
- Deep knowledge of technical processes, procedures, tools and technologies and project management methodologies
- Strong communication skills and organizational awareness to build relationships with business lines, communicate difficult concepts and integrate work with other areas
- A dynamic leader with robust organizational and team management skills to work with a team and handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
