About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Program Manager, the Clinical Leader provides leadership, innovation and support to their clinical program area, with the goal of providing interprofessional collaborative person centred care to patients and families.

The leader works closely with the team/program managers, professional practice coordinators, physicians, and other team members, to promote person centred, inter-professional collaborative care by employees within the Rehabilitation & Supportive Care Portfolio.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-secondary Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience with related leadership skills
  • Basic Cardiac life support (BCLS) certificate
  • Success in collaborating with others
  • Strong understanding of personcentered health
  • Strong problem solving and clinical reasoning skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrates sound judgement, common sense, flexibility and compassion
  • Coaching ability and diplomacy when dealing with coworkers and persons in the community
  • Demonstrates initiative, selfmotivation
  • Establishes good working relationships with patients, colleagues, management, community agencies, academic settings, students and volunteers
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent, Parttime (40%) position; 30 hours biweekly.

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $46.13 Hourly
