Overview:

As VP of Operations and Client Solutions, you will lead Client Solutions Teams for all branches within the Toronto, Markham, Hamilton and Mississauga region.

Working closely with local leaders, your primary focus will be to ensure each of the local teams' Client Solutions efforts are appropriately executed on and new business efforts are supported.

This is an exciting role where your success will be a natural result of synergizing your people leadership ability with your strong Client Service Brokering background.


Responsibilities:


  • Direct all Client Solution functions, ensuring the regular Insurance Renewal process functions optimally.
  • Partnering with the Area President on growth strategies for existing book of business.
  • Overseeing talent management for the region, including; hiring, professional development, succession planning, building and supervising performance standards.
  • Seek opportunities for process optimization through deployment of Gallagher systems, processes and resources as appropriate.
  • Work to resolve carrier related issues, acting as point of escalation for hard to place risks or contentious service/renewal issues.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with regional carrier partners. Responsible for the development, implementation and renewal of new and existing programs.
  • Working in conjunction with the National Compliance leader, work to ensure compliance frameworks are adhered to, supporting audit and review processes.
  • Assist in the integration of new offices/acquisitions for branches within the region.
  • Facilitate delivery of technical, insurer and product knowledge updates through appropriate learning and development and communications channels.
  • In collaboration with Area President(s), build and maintain a balanced workplace culture of respect, fairness, collaboration and inclusiveness within respective branches

Qualifications:

  • Highly techsavvy, with the ability to learn new systems, tools and processes.
  • Active and in good standing Insurance Broker's License.
  • CIP, CRM, CAIB or related designation strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of Client Service Experience within the Insurance Industry.
  • 5 +years management or supervisory experience preferred.
