Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a full-time Machine Operator who is eager to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment in our Richmond, BC location.

Afternoon Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Hours of Operation Monday to Friday, Must be able to work on Holidays
Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurate completion of documentation when required blade sheet
Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
Set up and operate machines slicers, dicers, peelers
Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
Plant floor person responsible for functions related to processing washing the food products
Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience in food processing facility
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
Flexibility in Schedule ( Sunday may be required)
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand during the shift and bend to complete tasks
