General Description of Duties:

Maintenance worker which will include various tasks within the department.

Operating sophisticated ophthalmic surfacing equipment;
Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems;
Perform minor fixes;
Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed;
Complete regular maintenance tasks;
Other technical tasks relating to the department;
Other duties as assigned
All handson training will be provided

Job knowledge:
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

Computer and basic software handling knowledge;
General safety awareness of an industrial shop and professional work habits
Troubleshooting & fault diagnosis on complex equipment

Physical Conditions

The position is physically demanding and challenging, as the incumbent will be required to stand, sit, or lie prone for extended periods of time when troubleshooting or repairing equipment.

Some weight lifting as per local standard may be needed Exposure to hazardous chemicals, tools, and moving machinery will be needed.

Full-time, from Monday to Friday: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
