Description

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Deliver the curriculum as per the course syllabus including theory and practical training
  • Develop and prepare various teaching methods as appropriate for the various course topics
  • Create lessons, teaching materials
  • Prepare, administer and grade evaluation criteria to assess student progress
  • Ensure and enforce student code of conduct and regulations that must be followed in the classroom
  • Attend meetings with the management to share and receive feedback
  • Maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records
  • Promote inschool services to clients and maintain client records
  • Promote school product lines
  • Adhere to strict professionalism and work standards, maintain objective and professionalonly relation with students.
  • Ability to deliver training remotely or virtually to students if required
  • Be able to effectively resolve conflicts or problemsolve with students and clients

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Personal Support Worker program from a recognized college or university in Canada
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in teaching NACC PSW program at a private college

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- teaching: 2 years (preferred)

- industry specific working: 3 years (required)

  • PSW certification (required)
