As a
VP, Finance you will serve as a key member of the corporate financial leadership team and will direct and oversee the company's financial plans and policies; accounting practices; and the conduct of relationships with lending institutions and the financial community.
In cooperation with the CFO, sets financial policy for the MH&E Sector including treasury, banking, credit, annual planning, insurance, audit, tax, accounting and financial record keeping.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Leadership direction to achieve financial objectives of the Sector in revenue growth, margin accretion and free cash flow generation
- Improve Forecast Accuracy in Revenue, EBITDA and Working capital through enhanced modeling tools and rootcause/corrective action
- Partner with Sector Leadership to achieve strategic objectives of the business in new business development, operational excellence, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions
- Lead role in setting financial targets in long range strategic plans, annual operating plans and monthly financial forecasts
- Maintain successful relationships with large customers/vendors, specifically Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure assessment of counterparty exposures and compliance with financial obligations
- Support creation of management dashboards, for revenue, earnings, working capital and liquidity, incorporated into monthly financial reporting & quarterly financial package for Sector and Company leadership
- Partner with Operations leadership to support efficient Plant operations, including labor, working capital efficiency and capital requirements. Influence key operations performance objectives including turnaround time (TAT)
- Lead team of Sector finance controllers and analysts, ensuring goal alignment, performance, development plans, performance assessment and training and mentoring
- Actively leads the appropriate management team(s), assisting with M&A activity and assigned major growth Projects.
- Positively influence new business proposal preparation and execution, together with Business Development teams, ensuring successful revenue growth, margin accretion, appropriate customer terms and conditions and return on investment analysis
- Ensure US Government contracting complies with DCAA and DCMA rules and guidelines and maintain a USG approved compliance and financial system
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with an advanced degree or designation preferred (i.e., MBA, CPA, CFP)
- 10 years of experience in Finance Operations and controllership with proven ability to communicate results effectively and efficiently to senior executive leaders and external stakeholders
- Financial leadership experience at the management level, preferably in a public company environment, demonstrating successful accomplishment of results and development of effective work teams
- Strong knowledge of P&L and working capital management in an operating and commercial environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills, with the ability to effectively establish priorities responsibilities, and deliverables in a dynamic business environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable to executive leaders, associates, bankers, and investors
- Strong business acumen; understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition;
- A selfstarter, highly motivated, with a strong work ethic. Also have a professional outlook with unquestionable integrity, credibility and character who has demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
- Strong analytical and technical leadership skills with vision beyond the task at hand and the ability to inspire respect and trust and mobilize others to fulfill the vision.
- Experience in mergers/acquisitions from target identification through integration
- Able to engage with and work well with people at all levels. Have a personality style that is team oriented and has the success of the organization and business as their main objective.
- Demonstrated track record for talent development and leadership of staff/team is required.
