We are seeking a skilled and motivated _
Residential Landscape/Hardscape_
Labourer construction worker to join our team.

As a Landscape/hardscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with
various landscaping tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects.

This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the company.

Job Duties:

Supporting install crews with construction: walls, walkways, driveways, patios, installation of lawns, gardens
Assist with the installation and maintenance of landscapes, including planting, pruning, and mulching
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies and manual lifting
Take part in maintaining cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas
Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Must have effective communication skills (both verbal and written) in English
12 years of experience in the landscape/construction industry is an asset
Previous experience in landscaping or related fields preferred
Knowledge of blueprint reading for landscape projects
A basic understanding of concrete finishing, construction, and tile laying is a plus
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment is considered an asset
Valid BC driver's license is an asset
Competent in the safe and responsible use of power tools and equipment (cutoff saws, plate tampers, jackhammers, skill saws, sod cutters, drills, etc.) is an asset
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Good analytical and problemsolving skills

Work Conditions:

Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles regularly
Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
Bonus pay
