The Oxford Hills offers golfers 18 holes of beautiful, park-style golf over approximately 6,000 yards of gorgeous Oxford County, a brand-new clubhouse and restaurant (KALOS), new carts and equipment, and an experience like no other.


Responsibilities:


  • Arrives promptly for shifts in attire per company dress code.
  • Prepare food and cook menu items as per Chefs direction with the support of kitchen staff
  • Report to the executive chef/sous chef and follow instructions.
  • Clean prep areas and stock inventory and supplies items safely and as necessary
  • Monitoring inventory and placing orders with Sous Chef for more supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
  • Maintains knowledge of and adheres to workplace health and safety standards as per company policy
  • Ensures that the workstation remains clean and orderly at all times.
  • Informs the Chef or Sous chefs when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
  • Tracks station inventory ongoing to ensure adequately stocked.
  • Labeling all products with name and date that have been processed for the Line Cooks station
  • Provide assistance/mentorship to junior kitchen staff with various tasks including prep.
  • Maintains work availability per contract for scheduling by Sous Chef
  • Ability to work shifts as per contract over weekends, and on holidays, as required.

Requirements:


  • Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience required as a line cook or within a similar role
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field considered an asset
  • Indepth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Commitment to the production of highquality outputs and excellent customer service
  • The ability to follow standardized recipes developed by Chef and Sous Chef
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Available to work contracted hours in a variety of shifts; days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:
$ $28.00


Salary:
$20.00-$28.00 per hour

  • 4 hour shift
  • Day shift

  • Weekend availability

Experience:


  • Culinary: 2 years (preferred)
- cooking: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
