(Frontier) is a medium sized provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, Supply Chain Logistics, including parcel and courier delivery.


Attention to detail, accurate and timely data entry, ability to learn customized software programs, and ability to self-audit work and make corrections prior to completion are imperative.

We offer a hybrid work schedule upon satisfactory demonstration of attendance, and job tasks and responsibilities.

We are located within a 10 minute walk from the blue line rapid transit station at Hervo Street, R3T 3L6.


Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Reviewing documentation provided for customs entry processing.
  • Identifying missing information and documents and communicating with the appropriate parties
  • Processing release of shipments for highway, rail, air, and ocean shipments electronically.
  • Process, assemble and present paper release packages to Canada Border Services Agency
  • Ensuring client instructions are followed.
  • Monitoring the status of the shipments and ensuring all rejects are fixed in a timely manner.
  • Engaging customers and carriers by phone. Responding to all incoming and outbound calls
  • Managing electronic filing of prerate release and invoice documents

Competencies & Skill sets needed:


  • Prior office administration.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in working in a deadline driven work environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Accountability. Will provide updates as needed on assigned tasks/projects.
  • Above average skill in Microsoft Outlook. Inbox and folder management.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills an asset.
  • Experience in a head office setting in asset.
  • Previous experience in transportation industry a positive asset.
  • Postsecondary education in Supply Chain Management or International Business an asset.
  • Postsecondary student, returning in the fall of 2024 an asset.

Pay:
$17.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
