The Opportunity:
Our client in Orangeville is looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join their team This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in public accounting who is motivated by making an impact in their workplace and interacting with clients on a regular basis
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements
- Complete noticetoreaders
- Tax advising, preparation and filing (personal and corporate)
- Year end preparation
- Communicate effectively with clients and government agencies, as well as other team members independently
- Bookkeeping tasks
- Comfortable working with Caseware, Profile, Sage, QuickBooks (desktop and online)
About the Gig:
This is the ideal position for someone with an accounting diploma or bookkeeping experience CPA designation or plans to pursue CPA designation is not required.
- Small office with a closeknit collaborative team
- Stable company culture with experienced professionals
- Permanent, fulltime
- Paid overtime will be required on evenings and some weekends during busy season
- 4 day work week during summer months
- Experience with public accounting is an asset
