Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead a team of shipping and receiving employees.
  • Maintain and audit payroll entries for warehouse workers
  • Perform supervisory functions which include employee training, performance management, & discipline.
  • Shipping, receiving and storage of all inventory and supplies.
  • Maintain all relevant paperwork associated with shipping, receiving and storage of inventory.
  • Maintain strict control over inventory levels to meet internal and external demand of product.
  • Work alongside office staff to maintain and order inventory
  • Conduct periodic spotchecks of inventory levels, supplies, and equipment.
  • Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take appropriate action.
  • Daily processing of orders for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment with progressing levels of responsibility.
  • Previous experience managing employees.
  • Strong numerical ability.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Must possess basic mechanical aptitude Possession of a valid Forklift Licence is an asset
  • Strong customer interfacing skills
  • Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and follow up skill
  • Exceptional time management, program management, and organization skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and facilitating team meetings.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and successfully manage multiple responsibilities.
  • ERP systems experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office
