Our Maple location is presently recruiting for an Afternoon Service Advisor, working 12:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday to Thursday to join our dynamic team.

SUMMARY
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for interacting with our customers and providing exceptional customer service. This individual will identify and schedule our customers' vehicles and service needs. You will assign work to mechanics and monitor the flow of work in the Service Department. This position handles all customer concerns regarding vehicle repairs and advises customers of recommended maintenance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the receipt and flow of all incoming work, communication with customers and constant communication with all other internal departments.
  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain all specific vehicle/customer information required for proper repairs, contacting customer and invoicing.
  • Consistently provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer customer inquiries with knowledgeable responses on heavy duty truck repair and servicing matters.
  • Create and close work orders.
  • Provide estimates as required.
  • Input customer and order information and verify information is correct.
  • Must be able to understand, communicate and evaluate all vendors and warranty guidelines, approval processes and policies during the write up and repair process.
  • Comply with requirements as outlined in the OHSA, WHMIS company handbook and all other company issued memos and policies including proper use of appropriate PPE. Follow business code of ethics and communicate to team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None for this position.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required to successfully perform the job.

Education and/or experience_

  • 23 years administrative/customer experience; service counter experience an asset. Technical aptitude and/or experience in the medium/heavy duty truck. Automotive or construction industry an asset. Computer literate.
  • OSSD/GED/ACE

Language Skills_

  • High standard of fluency in English for both oral and written correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

  • Valid Class G driver's license

Job Types:

$21.00-$25.00 per hour
