Basic Function:

Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company is seeking a full-time Inventory Analyst.

As a key member of the Production Planning department this position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of finished products, additive and packaging components in SAP for Lubeplex which is critical for schedulers to keep operations running and to controllers for financial reporting accuracy.

This position is on lead for the development and execution of Improvement Initiatives to achieve and sustain loss control practices.

This position will also play a key role in providing coverage and support to the Scheduling functions within the department.

Job Duties:

Troubleshoot daily posting issues to clear SAP production orders and ensure that product can be delivered to customers as scheduled
Resolve any errors regarding bulk production orders, and assist Billing Desk/Scale House with any posting issues they may have throughout the day
Perform Goods Receipt on all incoming purchase orders:
Purchase orders being delivered to Sylvite or any of our Third Party Locations
Incoming additive railcars
Support third party manufacturing inventory reconciliations
Bulk shipments from other warehouses
Lead the investigation to reduce losses at Lubeplex by working with operations personnel, supply chain, suppliers and management
Assist Accounts Payable and Procurement with corrections on inventory receipts for all purchase orders
Ensure accurate transfers within SAP with respect to manual movements
Transfer inventory of purchased basestocks as offloaded to tankage
Back up the Scheduling functions for vacation coverage and support of investigations

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion

Experience:

5 years of related inventory experience
Knowledge of Lubricants, Global Supply Chain and Lubeplex manufacturing process is preferred
Materials management experience is preferred

Education Level:

Postsecondary education required
University degree in Business or Accounting is preferred

Strong computer skills including Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Strong organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met in a fastpaced work environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with union and nonunion employees
Nonauthoritative leadership skills
Good understanding of business goals and objectives
Ability to multitask and make decisions with limited information available
Team player, but capable of working independently
Ability to analyze problems, understand potential impacts to business and recommend action given on given products/components
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
Detailed oriented

This operations role functions in a dynamic, fastpaced environment requiring timely decisions based on information available at the time
The role works closely with several other functions within the business including, but not limited to: Procurement, Inline Blending, Inventory Strategies, Transportation, Logistics and Quality Assurance
