Dental Technician - Models

Reports to:
Lab Manager

General Responsibilities:


Preparation of fixed prosthesis models

  • Prepares the PPF impressions.
  • Performs the impression casting technique.
  • Make the Pindex
  • Cuts out the preparations.
  • Articulates the models.

Preparation of removable denture models

  • Prepares the impressions according to the prescription.
  • Performs the casting technique of the impression.
  • Articulates the models.

Preparation of implant models

  • Prepares impressions (soft tissue)
  • Perform the casting of the impression.
  • Articulates the models.

Other tasks

  • Maintains and repairs departmental equipment.
  • Performs all other functions requested by the supervisor and those necessary for the position.

Qualifications:


  • Manual ability
  • Aptitude for precision work
  • Sense of organization
  • Ability to analyze and understand easily.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly.
  • Ability to communicate in both official languages.
  • No technical training is required.
