OUR LADY OF VICTORY SCHOOL

Full-Time Principal for K-8 School
Commencing September 2023

The requirements are:
Practicing Catholic with references from a current or recent pastor
Demonstrated commitment to the aims and goals of Catholic education
Completion of Catholic faith formation program(s) or commitment to complete the MCS approved program
Completion of Indigenous/Truth and Reconciliation education program(s)
Recent leadership experience within education, with a minimum of two years fulltime administrative experience preferred
A Manitoba Certificate in School Leadership (Postbaccalaureate or Masters in Education degree with a specialization in educational administration, or a commitment to completing same within 5 years preferred
A minimum of 5 years teaching experience
A valid Manitoba Permanent Professional Certificate
An effective communicator with strong language, organizational and interpersonal skills
Outstanding educator dedicated to student achievement and personal growth
Committed to innovative educational practices and childcentred initiatives
Ability to create a budget, manage payroll, and administer the benefit and pension plans
Knowledge of and ability to file necessary government reports
Satisfactory Criminal Record (including vulnerable sector) and Child Abuse Registry checks to be submitted prior to commencement of employment
