Key Responsibilities:
- Activate all communications devices and gas cards for Wish drivers
- Work with CP24 and CHUM FM to develop key messaging and campaign strategy
- Identify and initiate key campaign events to promote the charity (ex. TMX)
- Ensure all campaign materials featuring the program have updated key messaging (press releases, notes to staff, promotional materials etc.)
- Work with campaign partners on confirmation of promotional plans and activations
- Secure daily Donors of the Day to be profiled on CP2
- Ensuring all radio and television campaign promotional spots are updated and booked during campaign timeframe
- Responsible for all social media related to campaign promotion and donor features
- Work with Creative Agency to secure logo approval on all Wish logo placements
- Main point of contact for all donor inquires and communication of key campaign messages
- Work with Digital team to maintain and update the Wish website
- Communicate program dates and details with internal departments that support the program (Security, Shipping)
- Attend CHUM Charitable Foundation Board Meetings and prepare supporting documents when required
- Attend Wish related CP24 Breakfast Live Eye opportunities featuring major partners
- Maintain positive relationships with individual and corporate donors
- Other duties as assigned.
Critical Qualifications:
- University degree and/or diploma in Communications
- Minimum 1 year work experience
- Must be highly organized and able to juggle numerous projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage high volumes of work in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multitask
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
