How you will contribute


Reporting directly to the Vice President, Commercial, the position is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of a project commercialization including, but not limited to, scope, execution, and budget, quality and timing.

This role is the point of coordination between sales, operations, engineering and our customers.

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Track and manage all projects from inception to completion, including setting up budgets, timelines and deliveries
  • Set up and manage startup budget, startup ladder and capital budget cost
  • Lead conference calls, communicate with internal supports
  • Prepare and implement Plant Trials and monitor performance as well as prepare and track trial costs and inventory counts after every trial
  • Manage the team's timelines and guarantee excellent customer service
  • Provide technical support to all project stakeholders and be the point of contact
  • Develop technical information to support projects as required
  • Manage ingredients and equipment, risk assessment and staffing aspects of the project until it is transferred to production
  • Implement project production, including preparation of production specs, process instruction and training
  • Create item codes and product codes on the system and prepare Bill of Materials prior to project launch.

What will make you successful

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset; CADD certification
  • 5 years' experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure capacity. Legislative requirements (i.e. Ontario building code, fire code, electrical safety code, TSA etc.
  • Strong project management skills
  • A highlymotivated, selfstarter capable of leading multiple projects
  • Ability to develop teams; proven leadership skills with ability to motivate others
  • Strong customer service orientation

Work schedule:
Monday to Friday.

8:30AM-4:30PM.
