Are you ready to take the next big step in your career. Windsor Arms Hotel is looking to hire a Housekeeping Supervisor who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and services to our guests


The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by the Windsor Arms Hotel.

The position works closely with the General Manager to ensure high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel.


Main Responsibilities:
*Inspect the work of a team of Housekeeping Attendants who are responsible for cleaning guestrooms.

*Train and coach employees when standards have been missed.

*Schedule work to be done daily, collect room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas.

*Monitor each Housekeeping Attendant's daily progress.

*Inspect completed rooms to ensure that all standards have been met.

  • Ensure that there are sufficient supplies on the guest floors.
  • Check cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and linen closets.
*Assist the Housekeeping Attendants in the service of guest rooms in the event of heavy volume or absent employees.

*Communicate closely with other departments to ensure follow up on any special problem, guest requests, etc.

*Assist other departments as required in resolving problems.

  • Clean guest rooms as required.
*Additional tasks or projects assigned by General Manager.


Qualifications and Experience:
*A minimum of 2 years Housekeeping supervisory experience at a luxury hotel.

*Administration skills and strong communication skills

*Must have a thorough knowledge of housekeeping services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the Hotel

*Must be able to work all shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays

*A working knowledge of hotel systems and operations

*Conversational verbal English skills and proper etiquette knowledge.

*This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 20 lbs. You must also be able to stand for an entire shift.

*Time management and organizational skills are essential.

*Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with all levels of guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.


Pay:
From $21.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
