The Role
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively and in support of Marine NA's objectives and strategy
- Serve in a senior role on major accounts for placement, claims, and client relationship
- Advise clients/strategize/provide expertise on complex business
- Set and contribute to business growth objectives, including maintaining an active pipeline, participate in RFP responses/presentations and participate in proactive sales meetings
- Assist in establishing placement strategy for region
- Help recruit and deploy resources where required
- Manage workflow amongst the team
- Motivate and mentor staff
- Maintain and develop relationships with WTW's regional leaders, participating in regional team meetings
- Maintain and develop relationships with carriers and underwriters
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience preferably from global broker with a strong marine hull and liability team
- Direct experience in servicing and placing large complex multinational accounts
- Insurance broker
- P&C license required
- Knowledge and understanding of global marketplace
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Enhanced client service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
