Casual Mental Health Worker - Halifax, Canada - Metro Community Living
Description
Expectations:
Casuals are required to make themselves available for a minimum of 6 shifts per month including weekends and Holidays.
Be available to cover summer vacations, holidays and to work either Christmas/Christmas eve or New Year's/New year's Eve.
Responsible for all scheduled shifts.
Provides availability monthly to scheduler by designated date on calendar posted in homes.
Resident care:
Maintains stick confidentiality on all matters pertaining to the participants served.
Assists the Program Coordinators and staff team with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care plans.
Documents pertaining to participants according to charting guidelines.
Escorts participants to community events, maximizing the use of public transportation.
Operations:
Performs household cleaning as outlined on the housekeeping schedule.
Plans and prepares meals as per menu plan and related policies.
Performs other related duties as required.

$16.24-$17.44 per hour
