Description
We are looking to hire a Credit Risk Supervisor for our Finance division based in Vancouver.
-
Your Role :As Credit Risk Supervisor you will assist with the daily financial responsibilities as needed by the Credit Team to minimize bad debt. You will look to reduce any current or future business unit risks while establishing and following through on procedures designed to maximize our growth.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Credit Risk Management
  • Responsible on managing the credit granting and account opening process
  • Control the credit limit excess for all companies
  • Coordinate communication with internal managers, sales, customers and credit insurance for coverage
  • Ensure that credit goals are achieved; and accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures are maintained.
  • Handle financial review and financial calls.
  • Help other team members and provide coaching for our employees
  • Assist management with all queries regarding business health and trends (i.e. Risk Alerts, Credit Limit reduction or Suspension, etc.)
  • Work with the Collections Managers to ensure information flow among the Credit Risk and Collection team to provide "Best in Class Service"
  • Assist Credit Risk Manager with annual and interim PPR's of the Credit Risk Team
  • Development of KPIs, adhoc reports, and new analysis.

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (financial preferred)
  • 2 years working experience in Finance and Credit functions and one year in a supervisory role
  • Experience with analysis of Financial Statements.
  • High level of competence in Excel (pivot tables a must)
