This role is based in Saskatoon

Duties & Responsibilities

HR: Onboarding/Offboarding duties
HR: Send/Follow up on New Hire Packages
HR: Calling to guide new employees through completion of the New Hire Packages
HR: Scheduling Field Staff Reviews
HR: Employee data entry and filing
Safety: Adding new employees to the system
Safety: WHMIS Training Setup
Safety: WCB Claims
Safety: Scheduling Safety Training & Issuing Reminders
Safety: Assisting in the monitoring of documentation to ensure completion
Other duties as required

Skills and Abilities

Typing speed
:Minimum of 40 or more WPM (typing test to validate)
The ability to persistently follow up on outstanding items
Understanding/proficient in Microsoft & Google Suite
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to pay attention to details and produce timely results.
Strong communication skills
Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
Highly motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.

Qualifications

Admin or entry level HR experience / education considered an asset

Job Type:
Full-time, 1 year contract, Temporary with an opportunity to become Permanent.

Wage:
$16-$19 per hour *Wage will be based on education and experience*
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - This role's hours will drop to 30 hours per week during nonpeak business periods as required.

Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour
