Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing coordination and support to various aspects of operations to ensure the efficient and profitable execution of the installation of green energy infrastructure.


Note:
This position supports our GeoExchange Solutions group, a subsidiary of Aecon Construction Group Inc.


What You'll Do Here:


  • Performs site previews / inspections as required in preparation for locate requests.
  • Assists in inventory management / control and related systems development.
  • Coordinates / procures specialty materials / tooling.
  • Assists in small / specialty tool inventory management / control / maintenance / certification.
  • Reviews / summarizes weekly equipment utilization reports and correct misallocations.
  • Tracks / maintains area specific worker Training Matrix.
  • Assists in the acquisition of required safety / experience documentation from subcontractors.
  • Time entry, travel booking, and weekly scheduling of field personnel.
  • Ensures / tracks that quality and frequency of safety inspection / reporting is in compliance with Aecon Health & Safety and Environmental Manual.
  • Ensures the safe / organized status of materials and equipment.
  • Receives, validates, offloads, handles, processes related paperwork from vendors.
  • Queries, analyzes, and reports on data from various systems to assist in operational efficiency.
  • Facilitates deliveries of rush materials / tooling to crews as required.
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Preference of recent College Graduate -Construction Technologist /Technician/ Construction Management.
  • Experience in construction industry an asset.


  • Strong computer skills

  • MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint.
  • Strong communication skills oral and written.
  • Selfmotivated with good organizational skills.
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with others as a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
