Position Description:


As a Project Manager, you will oversee the acquisition, implementation and full operationalization of new technology solutions related to the manufacturing industry markets in an Industry 4.0 context.


Your future duties and responsibilities:


  • In partnership with the Delivery Manager, ensure the successful delivery of initiatives,
  • In collaboration with the client's Systems and Technologies team, Industrial Automation Engineers, Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things Engineers, Scrum Masters, ensure the planning, organization and coordination of assigned project activities according to our client's current standards.
  • Manage stakeholders,
  • Report on project progress to clients and managers in a spirit of transparency and rigor (scope, budgets, timelines, quality, etc.),
  • Ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards,
  • Evaluate project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies,
  • Evaluate and monitor project budgets,
  • Ensure change management throughout the project,
  • Assemble the project team with the delivery team leader and manage the team, including defining roles and responsibilities and resolving conflicts,
  • Complete project closeout by documenting deliverables according to current standards,
  • Integrate and promote the best practices of agile project management in place,
  • Manage interactions with other teams and ensure effective collaboration to achieve common goals,
  • Create a work environment that fosters skill development, teamwork, creativity, and recognition of employee achievements within the team,
  • Organize the postmortem to identify areas of improvement and lessons learned.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in the industry deploying business and technology solutions (7 to 10 years)
  • Experience as a project manager in a largescale solution delivery project, including the implementation of a new solution and associated change management,
  • Experience in multiproject management with backward linkage,
  • Experience in Agile project management including the linking of multiple product teams
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Plan, Confluence, Xray and MSProject,
  • PMP/ or Agile certifications, master's degree in project management or other, an asset
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment, industrial automation processes, robotic cells and production engineering is an asset
  • Knowledge of Siemens OpCenter MES products, Ignition SCADA, Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC's and Siemens and Catia PLM products will be considered a considerable asset.
  • Knowledge of some industrial protocols including CAMX, IPC-CFX, OPC UA, Modbus.
  • University degree in electrical or computer engineering, education or equivalent work experience.
