About the job

We're looking for a Service Coordinator for our Edmonton branch.

The Service Coordinator works with our service team to provide clean indoor air for our customers throughout Edmonton and beyond.

This role is responsible for maintain schedules, planning and coordinating service work, and supporting our customers with their inquiries and orders.

What you'll do


Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Collaborating with other departments (Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Logistics, etc.) to ensure that service provided exceeds customers' expectation.
  • Collaborating with Service Supervisor to create service schedule.
  • Generating work orders, quotations and monitoring progress of jobs to ensure they follow company's standards, clients' expectations and comply with current legislation.
  • Managing the Service calendar, confirming and verifying service appointments, updating the team of rescheduled appointments and creating recurring orders as required to meet external and internal requirements for compliance, maintenance, preventative maintenance.
  • Reviewing and evaluating service reports, inspection intervals, and changeouts. Suggesting and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensuring careful recordkeeping, data collection of all service works, team time cards, information from customers.
  • Building positive, collaborative relationships with all points of contact and working collaboratively to utilize available resources to successfully meet customers' needs and expectations.
  • Managing service inventory in the Service Warehouse.
What you'll bring

  • Selfstarter with strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Works well independently but also thrives in a team environment.
  • 2+ years of scheduling and coordination experience in a service industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems is an asset.
  • Experience with forecasting/inventory management is an asset.
  • Completion of high school or equivalent, and a postsecondary education is an asset.
