Junior Estimator - Markham, Canada - Sigma Workforce Solutions
Description
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2 years of Estimation experience
- Experience in residential concrete and construction
- Proficiency working in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft, and Sketchup
- Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
Key Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints, prepare takeoffs, create budgets and estimations
- Communicate with subcontractors for pricing as per specifications
- Manage and update all project documentation; a. Final contract; b. Job materials sheet for project; c. Final subcontractor prices where applicable; d. Order confirmations; e. Locates;
- Advise and suggest improvements with regards to increase production, save costs, and reduce waste
- Responsible to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Responsible to act in a professional and diplomatic manner
- Other duties as assigned
Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
