Job Description
Reporting to the Supervisor - Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Agent will assist in the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable Department.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Process paper and computer invoices in EDI and electronic format
- Manage the various discrepancies related to the invoicePO reconciliation
- Collaborate with branches and other departments to resolve discrepancies
- Analysis and monitoring of supplier account statements
- Manage credits, debit notes and return of internal goods with rigor
- Respond to supplier needs and questions regarding their file
- Provide training and support required from our branches
- Participate in the filing of supplier invoices
- Other related responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- DEP in accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years' experience in accounts payable
- Bilingualism (French and English spoken and written)
- Excel (advanced)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Organizational skills, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Workday system is an asset
