Your Contribution:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will work in collaboration with the RED DEER OPERATIONS TEAM. The
An important function of the role entails document processing, proofreading, editing, photocopying, compiling, binding, and assembling reports, specification and drawing packages.
Another key function of the position is to ensure that company standards are adhered to on a wide variety of documents including correspondence, presentations, reports and specifications.
Therefore, an eye for detail and excellent proofreading skills (suggesting alternatives and making modifications) are essential.Your main responsibilities will be:
- Greeting clients, contractors, vendors, couriers and other delivery personnel in a warm and professional manner,
- Answering, filtering and directing incoming calls to appropriate person,
- Scheduling boardroom bookings;
- Maintaining boardroom and kitchen areas,
- Arranging catering,
- Managing inventory, ordering and putting away various supplies,
- Administering all incoming/outgoing mail and couriers,
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Profile:
- High School diploma
- A postsecondary diploma in Office Administration will be given preference
- Minimum two years working in a professional setting as an admin assistant/receptionist
- Highly competent in MS Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
- Exceptional time management and strong organization skills
- Discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality displayed at all times
- Adaptable and able to work with multiple personalities within a collective team environment
- Safety training/background an asset
