Hanna is located 199 km from Red Deer, with a population of 2,673. The town offers its residents a friendly, safe, and small town lifestyle.

Hanna residents benefit from a wide variety of amenities within the town, such as the Aquatic Centre for swimming, Centennial Place for fitness and other activities, and two lakes within 15 kilometers of the town where residents can waterski or enjoy the sandy beaches.

There is also the Agri-Sports Complex where residents can skate, play hockey or curl.

The Hanna Health Centre is comprised of a 24-hour Emergency Department, a 17 bed Acute Care ward, 61 bed Long Term Care facility and Community Care.

Description:


As a Health Care Aide (HCA), you are responsible for providing personal assistance, supporting activities of daily living and providing comfort and support services to patients (clients, residents) who require short-term assistance or ongoing support.

You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers spanning the continuum of care in home, community or health care facilities.

You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
