Description

Duties:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and established quality standards
  • Decorate pastries and cakes with icing, glazes, and toppings
  • Ensure the proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and placing orders as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and utensils
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely production of pastries
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
  • Proficient in food preparation techniques, including baking and cake decorating
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce highquality pastries
  • Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail for precise measurement and decoration of pastries
  • Customer service skills to interact with customers and fulfill special orders or requests
