Description

Duties:

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and established quality standards
Decorate pastries and cakes with icing, glazes, and toppings
Ensure the proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and placing orders as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and utensils
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely production of pastries
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
Proficient in food preparation techniques, including baking and cake decorating
Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce highquality pastries
Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Strong attention to detail for precise measurement and decoration of pastries
Customer service skills to interact with customers and fulfill special orders or requests
