Role Description


Are you passionate about the automotive industry? Do you enjoy working with a highly motivated team? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Our expanding store team in Moose Jaw, SK is currently looking for an enthusiastic and skilled tire, brake, and alignment technician.


As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and work with the most qualified professionals in the industry.


Hours:


  • Monday
  • Saturday: 5 pm
  • Full Time Permanent

Responsibilities:


  • You are willing to thrive learning about frontend brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
  • Perform tire removal/installation/repair service safely for all passenger and light truck vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating, installing repaired or replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to the procedure. This also includes diagnosing injuries, evaluating reparability, and choosing and carrying out proper repair methods.
  • You continually strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed every client's expectations.
  • Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services including complete understanding and use of work order inspection procedures and tools, basic understanding and use of alignment machines, flush machines, oil lube, and filter service.
  • You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift.
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and by taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.
  • Contribute to an upbeat and positive atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and aiding other team members.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Grade 12 or GED.
  • You have excellent communication skills, a mechanical aptitude, and are detail oriented.
