Norcan is the Western Canada distributor for Bosch Rexroth.Norcan is currently searching for an Outside Sales & Service Representative to join our team.
This is a full-time position in the specialty field of hydraulics that would report to our Winnipeg Branch and provide sales and service to Northern Ontario.
The Outside Sales & Service representative would be responsible for developing relationships with customers, growing accounts in their assigned territory to commercial and industrial enterprises and providing field service when needed.
*Required Qualifications and Experience*- 3+ years experience in an Outside Sales service role

- Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Knowledge of distribution sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Selfmotivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of all standard Microsoft Office programs
- 2+ years experience within the hydraulics or similar technical industry
- Knowledge of components and hydraulic systems used in industry and mobile equipment
- Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers is required
- Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources
- Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests
- Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales
- Review customer requirements and provide proposals and quotations
- Prepare annual territory projections for Management
- Prepare monthly sales plan
- Work closely with the inside customer service staff to ensure the customer receives the best service possible
- Work closely with all members of the Sales team to recognize & promote sales opportunities
- Ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information
- Routinely pull and reference system reports for additional sales opportunities
- Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports and assigned projects
- Keep Branch and Sales management informed of all relevant activity
- Install, replace, and test hydraulic components used in industrial and on mobile equipment at customer work sites
- Troubleshoot & Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine corrective actions
- Installing, and working on hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and filters
