Department Overview

The Mainframe Environment and Database Management group is situated on the critical path of Application and Infrastructure implementations.

The Test Environment Management - Mainframe team (TEMM) is part of the Infrastructure Service Delivery team and is responsible for building and maintaining mainframe test environments for development projects.

TEMM provides support to QA, developers and the business during the testing phases of a project.

Job Description:

The role of the IT Analyst within TEMM is to:

Perform monthly upgrades of test sets ensuring the match production
Provide technical support to team members and clients
Review and contribute to project documentation such as Test Plans and Test Strategies
Represent the team at project status meetings
Provide management updates and reporting as required
Manage and contribute to internal projects and departmental activities
Create and maintain team documentation and websites

Requirements:

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Indepth knowledge of the mainframe including: IMS, DB2, Cobol, JCL, MQ, etc
Good understanding of a variety of TD Bank Applications
3 to 5 years of mainframe experience
Solid organizational and time management skills along with the ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary to effectively interact with coworkers and clients across multiple campuses.
Teamoriented: works well with other team members (or individually) and keeps clients and teammates, including Management, updated in a timely manner.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment with mínimal supervision.
Willingness to adopt, integrate and expand the use of TDBFG accepted processes and best practices
