Job Summary:

As a heavy equipment operator you will be responsible for the safe operation of various pieces of equipment (excavator, backhoe) used in a variety of settings.

Typical job duties will involve pre-operation inspections, daily maintenance of equipment and safe operation around vehicular and pedestrian traffic in tight situations whilst remaining productive.

Job Requirements:

Valid BC driver's license required (not all sites are transit accessible)
Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil construction sector (Excavation, trenching, shoring)
Must be safety orientated, selfmotivated and work well with others
Able to work under pressure and work long hours as required
Must be reliable, dependable and punctual

Job Details:

Expected to work 4050 hours per week
Work is _generally_ limited to the Fraser Valley (Surrey to Chilliwack) area
Pay to be based on commensuration, experience is an asset
