Area of Responsibilities_
Preparation & submission of the periodic regulatory reports for OSFI, Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, CDIC and other regulatory bodies.
Preparation of the periodic Basel III Capital Adequacy & Leverage Ratio regulatory reports and publication of Pillar 3 disclosures for local regulator & Group consolidation.
Preparation of any periodic surveys/ inspection reports/ data as required to be filed with regulator(s).
Preparation of various MIS reports and other reports including periodic exposure reporting as required by the senior management and/or Parent Bank.
Assist in responding to internal, external audits & provide necessary documentations.
Assist the Manager/ Senior Manager with the reporting to the Parent Bank including preparation of quarterly returns for Parent Bank regulator.
Ensure adherence to accounting and corporate policies and procedures and maintenance of the integrity and accuracy of all accounting & reporting records.

Other areas, including:

Assist in compliance with CDIC Data and Systems Requirement Bylaw
Preparation of operating procedure manual for regulatory reporting
Impact analysis of new and/or changes in regulatory guidelines, templates, rules and validations
Periodic review of Pillar 3 disclosures published on the Bank's website for accuracy
Assist in annual Regulatory Compliance Management Self-Attestation and Inherent Risk Assessment processes
Handle internal and/or external queries on regulatory submissions, applicable requirements including capital adequacy treatments, etc.
Assist in preparation of periodic financial statements
Quarterly SOX testing & assisting in period internal & external SOX assessment
Automation and other initiatives for Finance team and at the Bank/ Group.
Other duties as assigned from time to time.
