Location: 2 Copper Road, Brampton (travel required to sites across Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon)

The Operations Support Division provides a wide array of programs and services to 2 separate groups; Public Works clients and the community.

The role_**

Reporting to the Property Manager, you will be responsible for business relating to the interior and exterior buildings preventative maintenance program, demand and grounds maintenance for Public Works Facility Services, Water and Wastewater, Communication Towers, Real Estate Properties and Community Recycling Centers
_What you will do in this role_

- Compile, analyze and evaluate data pertaining to the budgeting, operations and asset management components of property management.
- Identify trends and make recommendations for improved business processes.
- You will play an integral role in developing methodologies to collect supporting data and establish benchmarking measures and standards of performance.
- Assist in the development of specifications and tenders for supply and service contracts.
- Liaise with internal clients, internal and external peer groups to complete facility upgrade projects.
- Review, validate yearly Building Condition Assessment.
- Prepares detailed written documentation such as policies, procedures and Council and analytical reports.
_ What the role requires_

- Technical or business University or College degree/diploma in a related discipline with a minimum three years' experience.
- FMP or CFM designation would be considered an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of standards, codes, regulations, safety acts, relating to property management.
- Excellent research, and information gathering skills.
- Strong report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong public relations skills.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel and other MS Office products and adept at using database software.
- Knowledge of Water Wastewater and Community Recycling Centre buildings will be considered an asset.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Valid class "G" licence in good standing and daily access to a vehicle.

Work Mode:
In this role you will work onsite at 2 Copper Road, Brampton, ON. You will also work out of various Region of Peel Public Works Facility locations across Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon.
