Purpose:

Education:

Community college diploma, or an equivalent of two (2) years' experience (defined as within the last five [5] years) working at York University and performing same or similar tasks.

This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.

Experience:

Three (3) years relevant and recent experience in an audio-visual (AV) service delivery environment including set-up, and experience in a client service and/or technical support role providing end user service.

Experience in an educational environment is preferred.

Skills:

Experience with all types of audio/visual equipment, including all video formats, large video projectors, PA systems, audio/visual routers, computers and computer software, computer projection, and Crestron-operated academic environments.

Effective and efficient customer service and multitasking skills.
Effective verbal and written communication & presentation skills.
Ability to build & maintain strong and positive client and team relationships.
Effective analytical, problem-solving ability and trouble shooting skills.
Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy.
Ability to deal calmly and effectively with people.
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
Ability to show initiative
