Accounting Manager

OBJECTIVE:


As an Accounting Manager, in your world, nothing is too big or too small when it comes to creating success.

This means you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. It is this mindset that will allow you to excel as the Accounting Manager for our client. The successful will have a crucial position in supervising the financial aspects of the projects. They should have strong analytical abilities, collaboration with teams, and adherence to accounting principles to ensure profitability and compliance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support and Manage the financial aspects of multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with managers and teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
  • Monitor financial performance and identify any potential risks or variances
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Review and analyze project contracts, proposals, and financial documents
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure profitability and cost control
  • Prepare financial reports, including project profitability analysis, budget vs. actuals, and variance analysis
  • Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding financial matters
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to project accounting

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project accounting or financial management
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
