About the role
We're looking for Summer Students in our Personal Lines team across Ontario.

What you'll do here:

Support the underwriting team by processing and amending new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellations within established authority level in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Refer risks to underwriters based on complexity and authority level.
Assist Underwriters with the administration of policies.
Underwrite and process renewals and cancellations within your underwriting authority level.
Use the computer system for policy inquiry, electronic filing, underwriting and rating transactions.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

Proficient data entry skills and strong attention to detail
Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Initiative and ability to work under pressure
Computer proficient with the ability to navigate through multiple systems
