The Innovation Team is responsible for the continuous improvement of the Department's people, processes and policies, leading strategic policy, planning and implementation for a range of operational and corporate support activities, including:
- department-wide ICT projects and systems
- quality and continuous improvement projects
- business continuity planning
- employee engagement and development
- diversity and inclusion activities
- strategic enterprise-wide space planning

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Postsecondary education and training in an information technology related discipline. A related combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Significant experience in programming, systems analysis and development in a multiuser multiplatform networked environment.
- Extensive experience in a webbased technical environment including the use of development tools such as: HTML, JAVA, SQL, CSS; Object Oriented design and development; web page design and development; and relational data base management systems (e.g. Oracle).
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cooperatively in a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple and competing deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills to be able to communicate ideas and solutions.
Duties:
The Website Manager assists the Director of Operations and Improvements in managing the day-to-day work of the Department of Health relating to website design and analytics for internal and public facing communication.
The Website Manager also leads the implementation of policies, projects, processes and standards to develop and improve the outcomes and functioning of these websites for Health and Department Services' Innovation team.
