Job Duties

As a Horticulture Technician, you'll take part in completing a diversity of special projects around the Ottawa area. You'll be in charge of the installs, as well as the maintenance of these projects. We are seeking an individual with a background in Horticulture & a few years of work experience.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:30pm (Hours may vary)
  • Seasonal (May-December)
General tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Spring and fall cleanup of gardens.
  • Maintaining flowerbeds: weeding, cultivating, edging, and deadheading
  • Pruning shrubs
  • Winterizing gardens
  • Using gardening and power tools (backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)

Requirements:


  • Willingness to work in a variety of weather
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Be able to commute to/from the job sites as needed
  • Background in Horticulture
