ABOUT THE ROLE
The Gender Officer is responsible for co-facilitating gender equality workshops, supporting capacity-building initiatives, communications and marketing of gender technical services as well as for engaging, motivating, and mobilizing the Action Against Hunger's International Network's Gender Task Force.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
_Technical Support_
- _ Co-facilitate training and workshops related to Gender Equality and Gender Based Violence risk mitigation for the Action Against Hunger International Network. _
- _Support in data management and visualization of Action Against Hunger's Gender Minimum Standards (GMS). _
- _Organize webinars, learning sessions, and other online events. _
- _Coordinate the administration of the International Gender Unit technical services (i.e., discussions on technical services with country offices, developing Terms of Reference, drafting contracts, etc.)._
- _
- _Ensure the administration of an annual learning calendar (i.e., participant registration, management, engagement, pre and post-training tests and evaluations)._
- _
- _Support Gender Advisors in the development and delivery of new training curricula as required._
- _
_Internal and External Coordination_
- _
- _Update and maintain the Action Against Hunger's Gender SharePoint portal by uploading new learnings, technical guidance documents, and other gender-related materials. _
- _Coordinate meetings with the Gender and Protection Advisors group as required._
